The main points of the program are:

1. Purpose – Objective

The present program entitled “Business grant program for the employment of 10,000 long-term unemployed aged 45 and over” aims to create 10,000 new full-time jobs in areas with high unemployment in the country, with priority in the regions of Western Macedonia, Western of Greece, Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Thessaly, Central Greece, Central Macedonia and Epirus.

2. Beneficiaries

The program is aimed at private companies and generally private sector employers who carry out regular economic activity.

3. Beneficiaries

Registered over 12 months unemployed aged 45 and over.

4. Grant – Funding

The grant for the reimbursement of costs of the action amounts to an amount corresponding to a percentage of 80%, for 18 months.

The public expenditure per beneficiary amounts to €13,708.80

5. Submission

Applications start to be submitted from 07/12/2022 until the positions are filled.
